Terms & Conditions

Full Terms and Conditions are detailed below for Cheshire Cakes. By booking your order it is understood that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Payment

When booking a deposit of 50% capped at £50 of the total cost is required to confirm your booking. Your booking is not confirmed until this is received. The balance to be paid any time up to delivery. Payment can be via bank transfer or PayPal. Bookings with less than 2 weeks’ notice will need to be paid in full before confirmation of booking. A photo of your cake will be sent to you via Facebook or email as per communication for your approval.

Cancelation

If you need to cancel your order I reserve the right to withhold the deposit if this is less than 2 weeks prior to delivery. We will happily reschedule your cake subject to availability. If cancellation is less than 72 hours once I have started on your cake the full amount will need to be paid.

Design     

We ill endeavour to create your cake to your requirements and design. However please note that to copy another cake artist exact design is not always possible due to individual skill and techniques. Also these can be subject to copyright. This will be advised on booking.

Damage

Once the cake has been delivered or handed over it is your responsibility to ensure that it is transported safely.

Please place in your car foot well or on a flat clear surface in your boot away from any other items that may drop on it. It is advised not to carry on your knee or place on a seat should you need to break suddenly as this will cause damage to the cake.

Best Before Date

Your cake/cupcakes need to be eaten within 5 days from delivery to ensure freshness. It is best to avoid placing fondant covered caked in the fridge as this will cause condensation and will spoil the design. Keep in a cool, dry area out of sunlight for best results.

Complaints

Should you be unhappy with your cake please upon receipt of your photo please contact me immediately so that I have the opportunity rectify it. Once your cake is delivered and accepted it is deemed that you are completely happy with you cake and design.

Allergies and Dietary Requirements

on ordering you will be asked if there are any allergies or dietary requirements that I need to know about. All of my standard cake recipes contain EGGS, MILK and GLUTEN. Ingredients such as NUTS can be removed from cakes however are used in my kitchen along with other allergens such as soya so I cannot guarantee that my cakes are completely free of them.

Delivery and Collection

Collection is available from my premises at an agreed time. Delivery is also available. There may be a small charge for this depending on location.
